One Nation, Under God
As I sit here for the first time in several weeks, the world outside is buzzing.
Warmer weather has brought a new look as we begin to experience some run off; the creeks are rising, there are robins and meadowlarks blasting new tunes and excitement for spring!
There is something about the subtle changes that bring back memories. The first crocus has brightened the bland prairie and an array on newborn baby calves add freshness to the picture.
I have yet to hear anyone complaining about the longer days and bright sunshine. You’ll have to go a ways to find anyone complaining about mud and getting stuck…or at least unappreciative of the added moisture.
The track season started in March and the youth have yet to attend a meet, due to tons of snow still on the track fields.
As college students return from to schools having enjoyed spring break, their mothers are grateful for another safe journey.
What is there not to be grateful for? We live in a world where neighbors watch out for each other and are there for support in times of need.
In the upcoming months we will see more changes and have more opportunities before us, be sure to look on the bright side…the view is always better!
I am slowly returning to my little routine … at least part of it. I extend a warm hello to my clients…don’t forget me! I’ve been trying to kick around some new thoughts and ideas to incorporate into the PCN…which is a slow process~I don’t kick well with one foot. This would be a good time for those of you that have been asking to have a swift kick in the rear end to start lining up! We’ll have a good chat…next time we meet “on the street.”
