One Nation, Under God
Warmer temperatures have arrived and there is water almost everywhere. Beginning to be a little flooding in places.
Hope farmer’s reservoirs are being filled up and it all isn't coming where it isn't necessary. There are still a lot of drifts and piles of snow to melt.
Holy Week has come and gone so I hope everyone had a good Easter. There were services all over so everyone should have had a chance to share the season with prayers, our Lord, and friends. My son Bill came and took me to Havre, so I was able to share some very nice programs and services.
My daughter, Teri Leys, and Asher came on Sunday evening to take me to Billings for heart work. After spending so much time alone at home during the cold weather we were having, it was like being let out of solitary confinement.
The American Prairie has acquired some more land south of Dodson to their holdings so we may see buffalo on our doorsteps soon. Getting closer every day.
Polly Solberg spent Easter at Roger Solbergs with other members of the Solberg family. Velma Broadhead entertained members of family and friends for dinner at her home. I am sure other families joined together for a day of worship, good fellowship, and family food and fellowship. So nice the weather cooperated by warming up so families could be together.
D.G. Powell, a resident of our community for quite a few years, passed away this week. Condolences are sent to his wife, family, and friends.
On Tuesday Dora's daughter Cheryl, and husband Todd, brought Dora's great-grandchildren, William and Jia Hood of Philadelphia up to visit for the day. They flew to Gramma Cheryl's for spring break so had lots of family to see while here.
The girls at the center served a very nice Easter dinner on Wednesday. It was also a very nice day for driving out there.
Birthday greetings to everyone having a birthday and congratulations to all sharing an anniversary this week, and many more to you all.
A birthday is just the first day of another 365-day journey around the sun. ENJOY THE TRIP.
Have a good week------watch the water---and smile----warmer weather is here.
