Lloyd Frank "Crickett" Crowder (May 21, 1964 - March 2, 2023)

Lloyd Frank "Crickett" Crowder, age 58, passed away on March 2, 2023, at Big Sandy Medical Center from cancer. Crickett was born May 21, 1964, to Allan J. and Rhoda (French) Crowder. He was the seventh of nine children. Crickett attended school in Malta, graduating from Malta High School in 1983. Crickett had numerous jobs in his lifetime, working at MOI, as a custodian at the Tin Cup, Malta Tire, and Malta Schools. He worked for the City of Malta, did volleyball line judging for the Malta High School for many years, and his favorite jobs were working cattle and riding horses. He worked with the veterinarian, Dr. Rick Levesque, the Veseth Cattle Co., as well as helping many neighbors and friends work their cattle. Crickett would help anyone who needed it, no matter the job or task at hand. While he worked those jobs, he also worked on the family ranch. Crickett enjoyed playing darts in a dart league in Malta and bowling when Malta still had a bowling alley.

Crickett is survived by seven siblings, Betty (Daryl) Wagner of Billings, MT, Peg (Mel) Banks of Sheridan, MT, Cindy (Chuck) Creaden of Las Vegas, NV, Cathy (Bob) McWilliams of Helena, MT, Jim Crowder of Billings, MT, Clark (Amy) Crowder of Belgrade, MT, and Jenny Crowder of Malta, MT; eight nieces, seven nephews, seven great-nieces, and eight great-nephews, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Allan J. and Rhoda Crowder, his brother Allan Van Crowder, and his grandparents.

Per Crickett's wishes there will be no funeral services and a memorial will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Any gifts received will be put towards any final medical costs.

Crickett is now able to ride the open ranges and tend the cattle as was his lifelong dream before his purpose in life was taken away from him.
