Loring News for Wednesday, January 25, 2023

Day after day of thick fog made some beautiful frost on the trees, but it also made the electric lines heavy and low. The power went out many times in Loring, but just a flash. One day it stayed off for about three hours. We were the lucky people!

Lu Besel and I went to Malta on Thursday and did a few things at the museum. It's surprising how long it takes to get the computer up when it hasn't been used in a few months. Cindy and I went in on Tuesday and had lunch with the senior meals at the Hi-Line Market! Fun conversations with some old friends!

I've heard about some robins being spotted in Malta, but some robins don't migrate. It is still great to see that splash of color in January! I haven't seen anything flying north here. I still have a flock of sharp tails! Buster doesn't even chase them!

I suppose that everyone is gathering up their papers for taxes! I'll probably get mine done in late March or early April.
