Winter! Snow! Wind! Cold! Winter! What else can we expect? Some people have decided to embrace the changes in the weather for each season. I must be one of them since I’m not going south to get out of it. But I’m not looking forward to this next week of sub-zero highs.

Kenny Clark and North Country repair held their customer appreciation day on Friday. Many people stopped in for chili and sticky buns for lunch.

Cindy Clark and I went to a WaterColor Paint party in Malta on Friday night. There were four other paint enthusiasts. We had a great time painting a Christmas tree and a bunch of penguins!

The Loring Sunday School presented the Christmas program “The Gray Donkey O Holy Herd”! Directed by Cindy Clark and Whitney Blunt.

The North Country Mavericks are in the throes of the ball season. Dodson Coyotes came to Whitewater to play both the boys and girls on Friday. The Mavericks won both games!

Heather Simonson hosted a GelMoments Nail party on Sunday. I was happy to see Debbie Anderson, JoAnn Hammond, Jana Wisher, and others like Rana, and Lulu Belle from the Whitewater area. Then from over in Loring was Whitney Blunt and her girls, Gale Simonson, Amy Simonson, Kennedy, and Sam,
