Sharing with family

Irma Marquardt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Marquardt of Malta, became the bride of Harvey Paul Jacobson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Jacobson of South Wagner, at a quiet ceremony at the Malta Lutheran Church. The wedding took place at 4 o’clock and was witnessed by a large group of family and friends.

That was a setback!

Road trips made by the Mustang hoop outfit during the week resulted in a victory over Hinsdale Tuesday night and defeats by Wolf Point and Frazer Friday and Saturday. They beat Hinsdale 30-21 and were trimmed by the Wolves 39-29, and lost to Frazer 42-35. Malta apparently suffered both defeats because of an outbreak of an old-time weakness – too many missed baskets and too many wasted shots.
