One Nation, Under God
The Montana Board of State Canvassers completed the State Canvass for the 2022 General Election on Tuesday. Representatives from the Attorney General’s Office, Office of Public Instruction, and State Auditor’s Office conducted the procedure at the State Capitol.
Pursuant to statute, the Board declared elected the candidates receiving the highest number of votes cast during the November 8th election. The Board also proclaimed the adoption and/or rejection of ballot issues that were presented to voters.
"Thank you to the Canvass Board for completing this important procedure outlined in Montana election law," said Secretary Jacobsen. "The State Canvass is an essential step in the process of certifying Montana's General Election results."
