One Nation, Under God
I was in Havre for Thanksgiving and except for very small piles at corners where they cleaned the streets, it is entirely bare. Lots of water around where the snow had melted.
We were not so fortunate. We still have about half snow cover. It is staying pretty cold still-----got up to 42 today but has slipped down to 36 already now. Supposed to get really cold and I'm sure it will make it. The records have said this is one of the coldest Novembers, only about 5 days around normal. The forecast is for below zero again by Friday.
Polly Solberg returned home on Sunday after spending Thanksgiving in Billings with Tim and Heidi. She said it had rained in Billings, but the roads were clear coming home. She had visited with Tammy Voice and seen her new home.
The Jim and Dee Shettel home had lots of family home over the holidays, so had a lively house which is what they like.
I had a quiet but good Thanksgiving with Bill and Marilyn in Havre. Of course, with a lot of good food.
Parking lots were full on Black Friday, so people were out in full force to shop the bargains.
Congratulations and Best wishes to all having a birthday or anniversary this cold week.
The day the Lord created hope was probably the same day he created spring.
Have a good week, try to stay warm, recover from Thanksgiving, and remember Pearl Harbor and what a difference it made in so many lives and the world. Give thanks to all our brave armed forces that rallied and gave so much. Watch the ice!!!
