Notice

The City of Malta is requesting that all recreational vehicles be removed from city

streets and alleys. Ordinance #422 defines recreational vehicles as motor homes,

campers, boat trailers, utility trailers and others. These vehicles are to remain off city

streets and alleys for the period of December 1 to March 1 in order for efficient snow

removal. Recreation vehicles not removed from of the city streets and alleys will be

tagged and towed.

MALTA SCHOOL DISTRICT #14A

MALTA, MONTANA

SAND/PAINT/STAIN/REFINISH HIGH SCHOOL GYM PROJECT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Trustees for the Malta School District No. 14A will receive sealed bids for the SAND/PAINT/STAIN/REFINISH HIGH SCHOOL GYM PROJECT, as specified in the Contract Documents. This is a construction bid to sand, paint/stain and refinish the high school gym floor. The scope of work includes sanding, painting, staining, refinishing and all associated work, as required within the Contract Documents. Sealed bids will be accepted at the Central Office, Malta High School, PO Box 670, 1 High School Lane S 9 St W, Malta, MT 59538, Attn: Jane Knudsen, up to and including the 14th day of December 2022, at 3:00 PM current Mountain Time. No late bids accepted. Bids will be opened during the regularly scheduled Board meeting on December 14, 2022 at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bidders shall clearly mark the envelope “SEALED BID – SAND/PAINT/STAIN/REFINISH HIGH SCHOOL GYM PROJECT.”

Contract Documents may be obtained by contacting the Malta School Central Office, 1 High School Lane S 9 St W, Malta, MT 59538; phone (406) 654-1871.

The Contractor shall comply with all fair labor practices and must meet the requirements of all local, state, and federal statutes include prevailing wage and hiring preferences. Each bidder and Contractor is required to have a current and valid Montana Contractor’s Registration and Montana Contractor’s License, as applicable, in the proper classification for the work bid, and such registration and license must remain valid throughout the period of the contract. The successful bidder shall provide proof of applicable insurance and a certificate of that insurance shall be provided to the Malta Public Schools with the bid. Bids must fully comply with all requirements indicated in the Contract Documents. No bid may be withdrawn, after the established deadline for the receiving of bids which is 3:00 PM, December 14, 2022.

The Malta School District No. 14A reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any and/or all informalities or technicalities, and to act in the best interest of the Malta School District No. 14A.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the requirements of Section 2-2-302, MCA, the Board of Trustees of Malta School District 14A intends to take action on the following matter at a regular Board Meeting to be held on December 14, 2022, at 7:00 pm in the boardroom of the Malta Middle/High School:
