One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, November 9, 2022

Beware of all scams, especially businesses and/or gas companies and heating.

It is November 2022! Time flies. Happy Birthday to all including Joyce Donovan.

Happy Anniversary to all celebrating.

Here are some upcoming activities in the Whitewater area.

Free Harvest Dinner at the WW Lutheran Church, Sunday November 13, 2022, at 12:30 p.m. All are welcome.

Whitewater School has Turkey Bingo Monday, November 14, 2022. Dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. and bingo will start at 7:00 p.m.

It’s hard to believe that it is almost Thanksgiving. Challise (granddaughter) invited Gale and I to turkey dinner. We will try to go.

Did you turn your clocks back for Daylight Savings Time? It is spring forward and fall back. I wish they would leave it one time or the other.

There was a ball game in Whitewater last weekend. From now on there will be lots of basketball games again.

Congratulations to the Penguins/Mavericks Volleyball team.

There have been many hunters in our Whitewater area. First, it’s bird season and now it’s antelope and deer season. Poor animals. Please do not shoot babies.

On Halloween night there was a party at the North 40 Café. It was well attended with many children in many different costumes.

Mom (Martha) used to make doughnuts for the whole town on Halloween.

It is a beautiful day here for November. Hope it lasts until spring.

Helen A.
