It’s time to put some logs on the fire. And then the time changes, Bah Humbug! Before you know it will be the holidays.

Royce Strobbe (Lacey Beil’s girl) and Whit Ozark (Walter and Billie Sky) won All-around buckles at the Go Getters Rodeo. They are this reporter’s great-grandkids.

Hector Douglas-Murdock, Kathy (3), and Noah James came to visit GMA Pat this week. Noah turned 1 on Oct 24th.

Margie Olsen celebrated her birthday on Nov. 1. She had several visitors and special guests come from Idaho. Her grandson Kenny and wife Callee Brainard, children Henry (4) and Kimber (18) months.

My little 6 yr. old neighbor Rodee Anderson scared his mom and Grandma after school last week. After coming home on the bus, he told them he "almost passed away today". Oh no, are you sick they asked. "No, I was so sleepy I almost passed out at school!"

Happy Birthday, Rena Math! Do you remember when you were 10-11 years old, and you came to visit your friend Lexie and ride one of her ponies? His name was Lil Bit, and he wouldn't let anybody else ride him and you got on him and he didn't even act up! And you hadn't ever ridden before.

Could these gophers be good for something, tourism maybe? Hunters visiting from all over come out to hunt deer and antelope and can shoot all the gophers they want. We had hunters that were interested in our homestead, the history of our small towns, and the artists we have here.

Colt Kornfield, son of Brenda and Greg, qualified for the Canadian Cowboy Assn. Rodeo in Canada. Unfortunately, he did not place. But he is still pretty darn good!
