One Nation, Under God
The northern lights were really bright one day this week. Of course, they could have been out every night, but I just saw them once!
I met an old friend in Malta for lunch on Thursday and gave her a tour of the museum. She loved it!
Cindy Clark treated us to a movie at the Loring Hall on Sunday evening. She has a projector, so she put up black bags on the windows, wrangled a screen, and made popcorn with butter! I counted 18 people at the movie in their blankets or special chairs. The movie was “Haunted Mansion” with Eddie Murphy. It was entertaining!
Congratulations to Mick and Paula Morrison on their 50th Anniversary! Many of the people from North Phillips County helped them celebrate at the Tin Cup!
Carol Lumsden attended a quilting meeting in Malta on Saturday. She said it was a great time sharing some of their handiwork. It is really more than handiwork; it is works of art!
Many people attended the funeral of Carol Williams, on Saturday. She was Lu Besel’s and Debbie Severide’s sister. John Severide and Debbie were up from Wyoming. Another old friend, Murray Matthews also was present. It was good to see them.
Congratulations to the Mustangs on their win over Red Lodge! Just a couple more games until the championship game. Keep playing your game! And the North Country Mavericks took second at the district volleyball tournament. So, they will be playing in the divisional tournament next week!
I still see a few robins around. They will take off soon, I’m sure! So, until next week, be safe and be kind!
