Shirley Marie Vickhammer (August 31, 1953- October 26, 2022)

Shirley Marie Vickhammer, age 69, went home to be with her Savior on October 26th, 2022.

Shirley was born in Glasgow, MT, to Harry and Stella Fauth on August 31, 1953. The oldest of nine children, she was raised in Larslan, MT, and graduated from Opheim High School.

After moving to Malta, she found the man she wanted to build a life with and on October 30, 1976, she married Rusty Vickhammer. They made their home in Malta and happily welcomed three daughters.

Shirley was an avid reader, enjoyed camping in the mountains with Rusty, cherished visits with family and friends over coffee and adored her grandkids. Shirley suffered with many health issues over the last 10 years, but through it all, her faith was unwavering. Although we mourn the loss of our wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend, we take great comfort in knowing that she is now fully restored, rejoicing in Heaven. Shirley will be remembered as a caregiver who gave generously  of her time and resources and loved unconditionally.

Shirley is survived by her husband Rusty, daughters Mandi and Ryan Bebee (Zackary and Madison) Belfield, ND; Stephanie and John Marcell (Christopher and Logan) Lewistown, MT, and Sonya and Clark Kratzer (Mariah, Lila, and Samantha) Moorcroft, WY. She is also survived by siblings Jim and Nancy Fauth, Tami and Ross Christofferson, and Melodee and Sean Kavanaugh of Malta; Doug and Mary Fauth of Rapid City, SD; Emmanuel and Brynda Fauth and Paul and Sarah Fauth of Caldwell, ID; and Becki and Blair Sheffield of Kuna, ID; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Darlene Boothe. A private family service will be held at a later date.
