One Nation, Under God

Loring News for Wednesday, October 26, 2022

Last weekend the weather was cool and windy. When Monday came around the weather was perfect fall days through Thursday! Friday was cool and windy and then the nice rain came in the night and hung around all day. The snow started early Sunday morning with lots of wind and it’s still coming down! I’m thinking that old Man Winter won this one from Mother Nature!

Condolences to the Carol Williams’ family. Carol passed away Friday morning. She is Lu Besel’s sister.

The family of Linda Berg had a huge auction on Saturday in Whitewater. Many people were bidding on some awesome antiques.

The grandmas of school-age kids in Whitewater really enjoyed the Fall for Heroes on Wednesday! Cindy Clark, Gale Simonson, Connie Wasson, Carol Lumsden, and Dixie Stordahl admire the talent of the kids at Whitewater. The parents and many others were present also!

It’s shipping time! The momma cows are bawling their heads off and looking for their babies.

The unrest only lasts two days and the herd is fairly quiet again.

The moon is in the new phase, so the night skies are dark this week. But if you get a clear night the stars and planets are so bright! You might even see a meteor!

Becca and Robert Engum of Great Falls celebrated Cindy Clark’s birthday with the rest of the Clark family. Cindy reported a great meal at Kenny’s and then movie night with her projector!

Keep in mind every day is a gift! Celebrate it!
