Soup's On.... Soup's Gone

Thank you to whomever ordered the weather for last Saturday, October 22nd~it was great!

At least from the standpoint and view of the Senior Citizen Center, who hosted a "super souper" day. Eight kettles and pots, but no cauldrons, were available on the fall day that was perfect for dining with friends.

The event that was scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., was starting cleanup at 12:30 when the only things left were spoons to lick, as the soups went over well and were all gone.

Funds from the free-will offering will go toward an awning over the entrance to the Center. Recently, KillEagle Construction completed the makeup and update on the front door, replacing the door and installing windows. The Center is right up town for style now, with an automatic door closer. The Board of Directors extend a thank you to all those who supported the event. There will be new events in the New Year, they look forward to seeing you then.

One can always join card players on Tuesdays and Thursdays, those playing bridge on Wednesdays, or the little ol' ladies plunking down their dimes on the table on Fridays at a game of bingo.
