One Nation, Under God
Fresh and hot first thing in the morning, especially on a brisk autumn morning, 10 to 15 flavors of lattes and drinks await you at "Jumpin' J's". The new espresso is currently located by the Riverside Motel, just off Hwy 2.
Waiting to greet customers at 7:30 a.m. til 4:30 p.m., is Jade Malmend. With nearly 10 years of working with coffee, lattes, and special flavored drinks, she is one of the "J's". The family of J's includes Jade, her sister, Janessa, and her brother, Jarad. The fourth "J" of the enterprise is Jade's son, Jettlynn, who works after school.
Besides curb side-drive-up service, the "J's" are kept busy jumping to expedite delivery service. An added feature of the business is the fresh homemade delights made by Aunt Carrie (Perry) and Grandma, Darlene Perry. If you haven't indulged in one of their baked goods, you don't know what you are missing.
They also do special orders, such as the customer who had just ordered breakfast burritos for 17 hunters in the morning. Take your taste buds and enjoy a fresh start to the day; as their sign says, "Life happens, coffee helps".
