One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, October 5, 2022

Sympathy to the family and friends of Pearl Peacher. We have been friends for

over 40 years. Pearl worked every day up until her death. She was 90 years old. Rest in peace Pearl. You will be missed.

Sunday Eric Engebretson rode his bicycle to Whitewater. He rode back with Pastor Nagy.

Nancy LaBrie attended the Lutheran Church in Whitewater Sunday. Nancy was a cook at the North 40 for years. Now, she owns The Closet store in Malta.

The Baptist Church had special services and then a delicious dinner afterward on Sunday.

Jeanie Green went to Arizona and Las Vegas. She planned to swim and play Bingo. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

Many ranchers (including the Austin ranch) are shipping cattle (poor animals). Justin Austin is home to help. Hello to Justin and family from Colorado.

Janice and Curt Reichelt went to Denver, Colorado, to visit and babysit grandkids.

Note: The North 40 in Whitewater has loads of books. Help yourself.

Attention to dart players. There will be a dart tournament at the North 40 in Whitewater on October 8, beginning at 1 p.m. There is a silent auction also. The Benefit is the Oly (Ryan) Olsen Scholarship. Proceeds from the tournament go towards scholarships for seniors. Call Sue Olsen or the North 40 Bar at 406.674.5507 for more information.

Here in Whitewater, it was beautiful and then today the wind is blowing strong.

Montana weather is so changeable.

Have a nice week!

Helen A.
