Locals Help Welcome National VFW President

National VFW Auxiliary President Jane Reape, made a visit to Montana, making stops in Great Falls and Fort Benton, on Saturday and Sunday. At the Fort Benton gathering she met with members from around the state, toured historical sites and sites of interest. Ms. Reape is from upper state New York.

It was shared with her, from those attending from Helena, Miles City, Fort Benton and Malta, of the excellent work of Saco's own Robert Plouffe, and his award winning sausages, bacon and jerky... though no one thought to bring her any.

Attending from Malta were Kari Hould, Sharon Kindle and Carolyn Schmoeckel.
