Public Hearing to Apply for CDBG Grant Funding
The Town of Dodson will hold a public hearing on September 6, 2022, at 6:30 pm at the Parish Hall – Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Dodson, MT 59538, for the purpose of obtaining public comments regarding a proposed application to the Montana Department of Commerce’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and other programs, as applicable, for Water System Improvements. The project includes replacement of 6,200 lineal feet of 6-inch cast iron transmission main and installing a new boring along the existing crossing of Highway 2 and BNSF Railroad. At the public hearing, the proposed project will be explained, including the purpose and proposed area of the project, activities, budget, possible sources of funding, and the costs that may impact local citizens. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to express their opinions regarding this proposed project.
Comments may be given orally at the hearing or submitted in writing before 5:00 pm on September 6, 2022. Anyone who would like more information or wants to submit questions or comments should contact the Town’s engineer, Carrie Gardner, at (406) 495-6176 or email [email protected].

September 13, 2022, at 5:00 pm in the council chambers of city hall. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments concerning the Petition to Discontinue
Alley submitted by Ronald & Cynthia A. Scott and Janet Berg. The alley runs east & west between the two properties and the City has another alley that runs north & south on the east side of their properties.
