The Phillips County Library hosts a knitting and crochet group from 12 noon to 1 p.m. every Thursday.

Malta Kiwanis Meeting

9-6 Malta Kiwanis will meet on Tues. Sept. 6, 6pm at the home of Mardy D. Picnic time!

Malta American Legion Auxiliary Meeting

9-7 The Malta VFW Auxiliary is rescheduling its regular monthly meeting to Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022. 6 pm. District President Vi Tharp will be attending this meeting. All members, please attend. Dues are now due.

Malta American Legion 9/11 Walk

9-11 Everyone is invited to participate with the VFW Auxiliary, VFW, American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of the American Legion in the 9/11 walk. Please bring a patriotic decorated bag with cutouts. You will be given a battery-powered candle to place inside the bag. Please meet in front of the VFW Club at 6:45 pm. Flag bearers will lead us to Veterans Memorial Park for a short ceremony. “We will never forget!”

Saint Mary Celebration

9-11 St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Malta will honor their patron, Saint Mary, with a special celebration and reunion on Sunday, September 11, 2022, in Malta. There will be a “Meet and Greet” starting at 11:30 with a special invitation from Fr. Felix Nayak.

Malta VFW Auxiliary

The Malta American Legion Auxiliary has placed canisters throughout the city at local businesses. The canisters are to collect change donations for Montana’s Homeless Veterans. Please donate. Thank you.
