Whitewater High School Class of '72 Holds Reunion

The Whitewater Class of 1972 met as a group for the first time in 50 years on August 8 & 9, 2022.  Of the ten graduates, eight were able to attend.  Missing were Allan Potter who passed away in December 2020, and Dan Kinshella who had business commitments.  Attending were Carol Brown Remington, Deborah Carlson, Shirley deMontigny Bakken, Barbara Allery Dunbar, Tina Pehlke Griser, Cynthia Schwarz Lougheed, Ann Severeide Motichka, and Jack Motichka.

On August 9th, we met for breakfast at the GN followed by a trip to Whitewater to tour the school which was set up by Barb.  Rana Jesson was our tour guide and explained what areas had been added to the school.  Many in the group did not realize there had been a new gym built and a music room added, so it was very interesting.  We then went to lunch at the North 40. Some in the group then went to check out the sights and visit with former neighbors.

We met that evening for dinner at the GN where we were joined by many friends and former neighbors.  It was great fun visiting and catching up with each other and the many who took the time to join us.
