One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, August 10, 2022

Sympathy to victims of the flooding down South. It’s too bad they can’t send some water (rain) to us here.

It is August! The weather is HOT! It has been 90 to 100 degrees for days. But in a few months, it will be cold and we can complain about that.

Happy Birthday to all August birthdays. This includes Sally Austin, my son Mitchell Moore, and my granddaughter Challise Young Hoff! Happy Anniversary to all!

North 40 Café hosted a Chinese dinner Saturday, 60 or 70 people came to eat. Chef Vince Mace was the cook. It was very good.

Sunday, I attended a Baptism followed by an ice cream social.

Last week Jeanie Green and I bought a load of hay in Whitewater for her sheep. It is hard to think of winter (when it is almost 100 above).

Many ranchers are selling more cattle than they wanted to due to shortage of hay. It’s too bad that it is so dry.

Welcome back to the Wisher family, who are just visiting. We heard Samatha will go to school here. Jenna will stay in Whitewater with her.

Enjoy,

Helen A.
