One Nation, Under God
When I was told I would need to write a column for the PCN or a bi-weekly sharing of thoughts, my mind was overcome by the intensity of the responsibility. Personally, I am one to text and share jokes, little clips with positive thoughts, and something that will bring a smile to ones face…I am not so sure placing my thoughts in words for others to pounce on is something I am looking forward to. It kinda ranks right up there with having a root canal or mammogram.
I will say this week has been a warm and gentle one; I had told a few friends and individuals I was signing on for a new job and more responded with “which one are you giving up?” None at this time. That’s your first indication the PCN supports (&/or) the crazies amongst them. My desk had a colorful floral arrangement and the note pad had welcoming message, so life is good and we are off and running.
Visiting is one of my strong suits, as is a healthy debate on certain topics. It was in casual conversations this week that many urged me to do some writing for the PCN and more poetry. Little did they know it was more than a thought, it was in the next chapter of my life. Thank you, everyone…until we meet
….“on the street”.
