Dodson said goodbye to two residents/former residents on Saturday as Jeff Shaver and Doug Durocher were laid to rest. Both were well known, as having lived in Dodson for years.
The western part of the northern sky presented a spectacular sky and beautiful sunset on Thursday. Since it took in the whole sky, hope no one missed it.
Polly Solberg, Diane Foote, and Dora Henry were in Havre on Wednesday and while there had lunch with Bill and Marilyn Henry. They also visited Betty Munson and drove in a good rainstorm till way past Chinook on the way home. There is really some rain sometimes.
There was a hard thunderstorm with hard rain AND hard wind on Friday night just after eight o’clock, causing the loss of power for a couple of hours. Friday was one of our hottest days.
Polly Solberg and Diane Foote took in the Jamboree in Turner on Sunday. Polly said both the Overcasts from Chinook and the John Koss' of Malta were part of the entertainment.
Steve Henry laid his Harley down on Saturday on his way to Washington with friends for a short road trip. His daughter, Heidi, came to keep Judy company while they were gone, and Judy picked him up in Helena and took him back to Laurel, a little banged up but good.
Time for the Fair is creeping up and not very slowly, so we can be looking forward to that.
Rumor heard that both the Nicholson and Holman ranches have been sold to the same person.
