One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for Wednesday, July 6, 2022

Adam, Kathy, Mathew, Kaitlyn, William, and David Sinnema of Manhattan, Montana were house guests of Polly Solberg this weekend. Mathew and Kaitlyn were in the group to help do the Bible School. Kathy is the daughter of Art and Sue Solberg.

It rained a little shower on Saturday night and gave us a pretty good shower Sunday afternoon. Every bit helps.

Tarzan Tree trimming cut down a large tree in Dora's front yard on Friday morning and did more tree work at Jerry Lankford's in the afternoon. They were damaged a couple of weeks ago by the wind and Dora's was about to come down and could cause some damage to the fence or house. Sure opened up the view of the west. Good job Tarzan!

By the time they all moved to my place, Mrs. Skunk was found to have six little kits, but partly due to the two dogs that were here, and I don't know what else, they have moved on, permanently I hope.

Get well wishes are sent to Velyma Broadhead who has been quite ill.

Roger and Jackie Henry left to go back to Indiana on Friday. I hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July with campouts and other activities over the week. It's always nice if the weather co-operates when families plan recreational get-togethers.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday to Pete James, Matt Cole, Bill Nordlund, and all in the community who also share this Holiday weekend for a Birthday. Congratulations also to all celebrating an anniversary.

An optimist is a guy who can always see the bright side of other people's problems.

Have an extra good week and enjoy the people around you.
