NOTICE OF PENDING ATTACHMENT

OF TAX LIEN (MCA 15-17-122)

On Monday, August 1, 2022, by 5:00 pm, the Phillips County Treasurer will attach a property tax lien to property on which the 2021 taxes are delinquent. The delinquent taxes, including penalties, interest and cost are a lien upon the property and that unless delinquent taxes, penalties, interest, and costs are paid prior to August 1, 2022 a tax lien will be attached and may be assigned to a third party.

A complete delinquent list of all persons and property in the county now owing taxes, including all city and town property that is delinquent is on file in the office of the Phillips County Treasurer and is open to public inspection and examination.

The Malta Irrigation District will accept sealed proposals at the office of Malta Irrigation District until 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, for the purchase of:

One (1) 1996 GMC 2.5 Ton Dump Truck.

The attached notice is to inform you Century Companies, Inc (PO Box 579 Lewistown, MT 59457 (406) 535-1200), has applied for a permit to mine sand and gravel. Century Companies, Inc intends to remove approximately 500,000 cubic yards of material from a 31-acre site located in Sections 12 & 13, T32N R33E, PMM, Phillips County, MT. Processing equipment includes a crusher and an asphalt plant. Hours of operation will be 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Access to the mine will be off Stahl Road.
