Memorial Day, we remember Veterans, especially those killed in action.

I remember my cousin, Danny Austin, who was killed in an Air Force plane crash. He was only 19. It was so sad.

We all pray for peace everywhere.

Life goes on.

Here in Whitewater, Montana, it is June 2022, and spring is here.

Happy Birthday to Janet Brown (my sis), to Gene and Glen Brown (her sons) and to Julie Austin Cole. Also, to all with birthdays and anniversaries.

Jeanie Green went to Great Falls to babysit and take Melanie's children with her to visit Pat Ivanovitch Donich at Seeley Lake and Missoula.

Many from this area have cabins at Nelson Reservoir, we call “the lake.” This year the water is too low for boats.

Ree Simonson's Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Here’s a recipe from the P. C. Fair Cookbook.

½ cup of Mayonnaise

¼ cup Parmesan grated cheese

4 Halves chicken breast (boneless)

4 tsp. Italian breadcrumbs

Arrange chicken in pan, mix mayonnaise and cheese and place over chicken. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes. Note: This would make a great potluck dish.
