Malta Irrigation District is calling for sealed fencing proposals on two (2) parcels and a corner post replacement proposal with minor fencing on one (1) parcel. Bids will need to be submitted separately. Requirements from the contractors include being legally bonded and insured and able to verify this information. A prebid parcel viewing will be held May 25, 2022, 10 am. Malta Irrigation District reserves the right to refuse any and/or all bids. Closing date for sealed proposals is May 31, 2022, 3:30 pm, at the District Office. Notice is hereby given by the undersigned clerk of School District 2A-C of Phillips County, State of Montana that the results of the May 3, 2022 election are:

Trustee Candidates 3 year term:

Robert Jaynes: 76

Iris Kill Eagle: 75

Trustee Candidates 2 year term:

Lisa Campbell: 78

Michael Ereaux: 47

Therefore, it has been certified by the Board of Trustees of Malta School District 2A-C, that Berta Anderson and Robert Jaynes have been elected to the Board of Trustees for a 3-year term. Lisa Campbell has been elected for a 2 year term.

All 2022 Personal Property tax statements in Phillips County have been mailed. The 2022 Personal Property taxes are due in one payment by 5:00 p.m. on or before June 30, 2022. If the taxes are not paid by this date, the amount payable is delinquent and draws interest at the rate of 5/6 of 1% a month until paid and 2% must be added to the delinquent taxes as a penalty (MCA 15-16-119).

NOTICE OF FEDERAL PRIMARY ELECTION

Notice is hereby given that in Phillips County, on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, a Federal Primary nominating election will be held at the Phillips County Courthouse for the purpose of nominating federal, state and county candidates for the November 8, 2022, general election ballot, and for the purpose of deciding the local option motor vehicle tax ballot issue.

This election will be conducted by polling place. The polls will be open on election day, June 7, 2022, at 7:00 a.m., and continue to be open until 8:00 p.m. at the Phillips County Courthouse at 314 S 2nd Ave W in Malta. All active and inactive electors of Phillips County are entitled to vote in the election. Absentee ballots were mailed on Friday, May 13, 2022, to only active, registered voters signed up for the absentee list.

Persons who wish to register and who are not presently registered may do so by appearing at the county election office before 12:00 PM (noon) the day before Election Day.

Preferred trim is White Metal Sales #4236539 to match up best with the north and south gutter material. Completion date by July 31st. Bid opening is about 9:30 a.m. on June 15, 2022, at our Board meeting. Bid at PO Box 1051 or 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. at meeting location.
