BNSF Maintenance Crew Working Through Crossings In Phillips County

The BNSF Railway is conducting maintenance between Saco and Dodson from Sunday, April 17, 2022 through Friday, May 20, 2022. Crews plan to work nightly from 10 pm to 6 am. Individual crossings will be closed temporarily as the crew works through specific locations.

BNSF’s capital commitment in Montana is primarily focused on maintenance projects that help ensure BNSF continues to operate a safe and reliable network. The largest investment is for replacing and upgrading rail, rail ties and ballast, which are the main components for the tracks on which BNSF trains operate. Regular maintenance of the railroad allows BNSF to keep its network infrastructure in optimal condition.

The railroad crossings between Saco and Dodson. Crews will work east to west, starting west of Saco. Notices will be posted at each crossing 24 hours before work begins.
