One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, April 6, 2022

Our sympathy to the family of Vic Lefdahl of Saco, especially to Rana (Lefdahl) Jesson of Whitewater. The Lefdahl’s (Vic and Mary) had the café in Whitewater years ago.

Many from our area attended the “Ag Day” in Malta and the lunch for the Fire Department (very good burgers).

“Hello” to Heidi (Hinman) Luloff, my friend. They recently had a cattle sale. Their logo is the same as my initials, (Hinman Angus). How funny!

Today the wind is blowing so strong, and it is very cold. Yesterday was warm. It is so changeable here.

It is already April. Happy birthday to all April birthdays and anniversaries.

Whitewater Lutheran Church has “Soup Suppers” and Lenten service on Wednesdays, April 6 and 13, 2022. Suppers are at 5 p.m. and evening church at 6 p.m. Easter morning church is at 11:15 a.m. on April 17, 2022.

Whitewater Baptist Church has Sunday school at 10 a.m. and church at 11 a.m. on Sundays. Bible Study is at 6 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Have you ever taken a duck and a cat to town in the same car? Jean Green took her duck, my cat, and I in the same car (thanks to pet carriers). I took my favorite cat to Milk River Vet. Dr. McKenna LaVesque was there and her assistant, Miss Howard (she went to school in Whitewater years ago). Now, after the vet visit, my cat is fine. Jeanie’s duck said “hello” in his language, which is quack, quack! How fun.
