Our sympathy and prayers to the victims and refugees affected by the Russian Invasion.

It is so terrible. The Red Cross is trying to help, we could all help them.

It is March 2022! Daylight Savings time change is Sunday, March 13. Don’t forget to change your clocks forward. It is spring forward and fall back. (I wish they would just leave the time one way or another.)

Congratulations to all March birthdays, including Pastor Bob Nagy of the Lutheran Church. Also, the Siewing twins, Seth and John, and to all who are celebrating anniversaries in March.

Have you finished your income taxes? Lu Bessel went to Colorado to do income taxes. Good Luck Lu!

Get well wishes to Richard Dunbar and all who are sick.

Note: Lenten Service at the Whitewater Lutheran Church will begin March 9th (Wed.). Soup Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. each Wednesday until Easter.

Remember the library at North 40 Café has books and videos, help yourself.

On TV, it always shows the homeless and their homes under the bridges, even in boxes. It is so sad and so bad, why don’t the homeless come north? There are so many abandoned and vacant houses across the prairie. For instance, Whitewater has 3 or 4 vacant houses in the country near here. There are jobs here too.

Well, it is almost spring. The geese are back! So are the ducks and tiny birds. It’s wonderful!
