12th Annual March Madness Calcutta

The Health-Care Foundation of Phillips County will be holding their annual Men's NCAA Basketball Tournament Calcutta on Tuesday, March 15, at 6:30 p.m. sharp at the Lucky Bullet.

The Health-Care Foundation is a non-profit organization that started in 1992.

The annual benefit helps raise money for the Health-Care Foundation to assist the Phillips County Hospital, Nursing Home, Clinic, and Ambulance Services.

Last year, the auction brought in $18,395. With the Health-Care Foundation getting 10% of that. They also auctioned off each of the regions for a total of $1,424. The foundation received 25% of that total netting the Health-Care Foundation nearly $540.

The rules for the Calcutta are as follows:

1 – There will be no minimum bid requirement.

2 – All teams won in the Calcutta must be paid for that night.

3 – Pay-out starts at the second round, all the way to the championship.

The Health-Care Foundation gets 10% of the total bid on all of the teams. The remaining 90% will be Paid Out!

Every person involved in the auction will receive one free drink ticket, and chips and salsa will be served. So head down to the Lucky Bullet for a night of fun and fundraising for a great cause!
