One Nation, Under God

Sympathy to the family of Helen DePuydt. She was a nice lady and a good friend. She will be missed.
Get well wishes to Dallas Green who returned home from Rochester. Also get well wishes to all who are sick.
When I get a glass of my own “cool, clear, well water”, I am thankful.
Years ago when I moved back to my hometown, (Whitewater), I had a well dug. It still puts out the “cool, clear water”! Recently, I saw Ray McMullen who helped me do the work to run the water in my house. Chad Wisher also did the plumbing. The actual well was dug by Mr. Eaton of Hinsdale. Thanks to all!
When we dug the well, they drilled and at 30 feet down, we got mud and rocks. Then I said, “you keep digging” and at 40 feet we got “cool, clear water”. What a blessing!
Back to 2022! Reichelts went to Billings, where Curt attended an Agriculture meeting. Julie, Cole and Joyce Donavan accompanied them. Then they all went to visit Janet Brown (my sister, their aunt).
Someone asked about my children and grandchildren. So, I will introduce my kids this week. My daughter Teresa (Moore) Dyck, Swift Current Sask. Canada. My son Mitchell Moore of Seattle, Washington, and Gayle Young, my youngest daughter of Saco, Montana
Back in Whitewater, the weather bureau report says, it snowed, and temperatures went down with high strong winds, bringing temperatures way below zero! What a change from last week. This is Montana so we are used to it changing.
Anyway, it did not stop teams and fans from going to tournaments. Congratulations to all the teams.

Let’s all hope and pray that we do not get in another war.
The Amtrak train runs through Malta daily. That is great for the Phillips County area. Dallas Green, Whitewater, rode the train to Rochester, MN, to the Mayo Clinic. Dale Green, his brother, met him there to help.
There was a spelling bee for Phillips County in Whitewater. Congratulations to winners and all participants. Spelling is useful for all your life.
Good luck, also, to all teams and coaches in the basketball tournaments.
Happy Birthday to all February birthdays, including my granddaughter, Rhonda Giesbract, of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. She just missed having a Leap Year birthday. This would have meant she would only have had a birthday every four years! Leap Year falls on February 29th. There is no February 29th in 2022.
Here's a report from the “Whitewater Weather Bureau”: Today is windy; it is hard to stand up! All the snow is gone, and the ground is dry. We should all pray for rain. Even snow would help.
Recently I went shopping at the local grocery store. The shelves were pretty well stocked; however, all the grocery prices have gone up (inflation). Chicken and eggs have really gone up in price. Luckily several ranches produce their own eggs. The Hutterite colony near Loring has an egg factory with many chickens. Anyway, in about 1944 there was a shortage of many food and other items. Sugar was rationed and other items, too. Try making a cake without sugar! Anyway, as long as we do not run out of toilet paper, we are all right.
