One Nation, Under God
There is a new face in the position of Administrative Support and 4-H Assistant at the MSU Extension Office for Phillips County.
Randee Shannon started at the Extension Office in August and just finished her six-month review.
Shannon grew up in Terry, MT. A small town on Interstate 94, between Miles City and Glendive, with her parents and a younger brother.
She went to school in Terry, graduating in 2014.
After high school, she took some college classes in Miles City.
In the six years before starting at the Extension Office, she worked as a staffed CNA in Miles City, a traveling CNA, and was a medical assistant in Lewistown for six months.
Randee is engaged to Wes Lundstrom with a wedding planned for September of this year.
The couple enjoys anything outdoors. Especially trips to anywhere in the side by side.
County Agent at the Extension Office, Marko Manoukian said, "Randee has a great background in 4-H and is excelling in the other aspects of the Extension Admin position including outreach and agriculture. The fact that she grew up in Terry, Montana is a huge benefit."
When asked what she likes about her job, Shannon said, "I was in 4-H for 10 years. To me, this is like the next step. It's like I've graduated and now I get to return all of the work that was put into me, helping the next generation of 4-H kids."
