Mustang Foundation Announces New County-wide Veseth Scholarship

It is with great pleasure that the Mustang Foundation will be the recipient of one new scholarship which will be a trades scholarship (makes two of those) and the previous 4 added last year from the Late Michael Veseth and Rosemary Sylwester Veseth.

These scholarships will be worth $1,000.00 each and will be awarded each year over the next four years. These scholarships are available to anyone who applies in the county. The applications will be available at the schools in Phillips County or on the Malta High School website under the Mustang Foundation.

The scholarship will be awarded to students that are getting their education in Montana (must go to school in Montana). These scholarships are available to high school students and students that are currently at a Montana school, with preference given to high school students.

These scholarships include:

1. Medical, which can include but not limited to: dentist, nurse, doctor, vet, radiology tech, and lab tech is called the Dr. Michael Veseth Health Care Scholarship.

2. Teaching and counseling, which will include anything to with teaching and counseling and is called Rosemary Sylwester Veseth Scholarship.

3. There will be two of these scholarships. Trades, which can include but not limited to: plumbing, welding, hairdresser, barber, and auto and diesel mechanic, and electrician. This one is called Dr. Michael and Rosemary S. Veseth Vocational Scholarship.

4. Agriculture, which can include but not limited to: ag education, extension agent, and ag business and is called Dr. Michael and Rosemary S. Veseth Scholarship.
