One Nation, Under God
This week has all been pretty warm for us. It has melted a lot of the snow (and) because of the freezing at night has made some vicious ice, but everyday it melts enough to put some water on top but it is all helping the snow to disappear. The hills and yards are mostly brown now and we can see some of the streets again. Supposed to be a little snow this weekend again, but hopefully, the sun will take care of it again.
Sadly, our school has been closed again due to so many testing positive for Covid; teachers, and students alike. A tentative starting date again is Monday, January 31. The town has remained very quiet as they all try to recover.
I received word today that a great-granddaughter in Philadelphia is recovering from a mild case but is still in isolation. At least she has had her shots.
Best wishes to Dean Kienenberger, Kay Taylor, and all others having a birthday this week. Hope you all enjoy it with the nicer weather. Happy anniversary greetings go to James and Nora Weigand for another anniversary. Remember some flowers, Jim! And hope it is a good one.
The price of gasoline consists of four factors: taxes, distribution and marketing, the cost of refining, and crude oil prices-----which are not determined by the president.
Have a good week---have heard everyone is getting their Gurney's catalog. Ha! Smile and let's all try to stay healthy.
