Dodson News for January 5, 2022

My son Bill came and got me and I spent Christmas in Havre at his house, and since a big snowstorm moved in on Sunday and we were not able to come home till Monday this is a sort of combination of the two weeks. Attending Church services on Christmas Eve I took a fall between pews at the church but am fine thanks to some very nice people who helped me.

The community was saddened with the death of life long resident of Dodson, Niel Cole, so soon after his beloved wife' Laura’s death. Condolences are sent to all his family and his many friends.

Hopefully, with 2022 coming in with such fury and extreme cold we will have better weather in January and February. This whole year of 2021 has been so harsh we are surely being tested.

Velyma Broadhead returned home the day after Christmas after spending the holidays with her kids.

Polly Solberg spent Christmas Eve with Tim and Vivian Bruckner in Malta. This Sunday Polly attended church in Malta and lunched with the Bruckners.

Al Minugh had the misfortune to go off into a ditch and before he was found by a daughter and rescued he froze both hands and suffered some other disabilities. He was taken to the Havre Hospital.

Terri Cole returned home on Saturday after visiting kids over the Holidays.

Dora's grandson reached the summit of Kilimanjaro on his climb with stepbrother Justin. He left Great Falls the day after Christmas.

Polly Solberg went to Malta Tuesday to visit with relatives who came from Helena.

Birthday greetings to Polly Solberg and Ava Welch and all others having a Birthday this week. Congratulations to all celebrating wedding anniversaries.
