One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, December 1, 2021

Sympathy to all homeless people and to the animals out in the cold.

It is December!! It is hard to believe, it soon will be Christmas!

Happy Birthday to Curt and Janice Reichelt, Lu Bessell, Carol Brown formerly of Whitewater and to all who are celebrating birthdays or anniversaries.

Get Well wishes to all who are sick, including Kelly Brown Blackford (my niece).

Julie Austin Cole called me for a nice visit. Julie teaches school in Nashua, Mt.

There was turkey bingo at the Whitewater school in November. Prizes and turkeys were won. Congratulations to all the winners, including Bonnie McMullen.

Lasagna and pies were served.

Our town of Whitewater was packed full Saturday, November 27th. There was a basketball tournament with 7 different towns and their buses represented. Congratulations to all teams.

Last Sunday Jean Green took Sommer, Rory, and I to Sleeping Buffalo. I sat in the hot pool. Gale (daughter) met us there.

Many schools and churches are practicing for Christmas programs.

Here’s the words for the old age hymn for children and all people.

“Away in the manger, no crib for his bed. The little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head. The stars in the sky, look down where he lay, the little Lord Jesus asleep in the hay.”

We had a snowstorm in Whitewater. It looks like Christmas!

Take Care,

Helen A.
