One Nation, Under God
The wind was strong and wouldn’t be satisfied til it wreaked havoc on something! So it chose one of my fifty year old ponderosa pine trees and dropped the top right in my drive way! But I have a neighbor who uses a fireplace and they will cut it up and let it dry. The greenery will be beautiful in the creations for Christmas! My tree line will look different in my sunset pictures but it won’t be too bad!
Several people got together this week for lefsa making parties! I participated in one such gathering! The host had made about 10 pounds of spuds so there was a pile of lefsa made! But it was fun visiting, rolling, dusting, and of course sampling!
Many hunters are out harvesting the deer, mule and whitetail! Maybe I’ll be able to drive to Malta without providing more body work for Dylan! Lol! I shouldn’t say that, I might jinx myself!
If you’re traveling this Thanksgiving, be safe! Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
Pete and Carol Lumsden have had hunters staying there for this week. I haven’t heard for sure, but I assume they filled their tags!
Congrats to the junior high basketball teams who finished up their seasons this weekend! The seasons for Malta and North Country were very successful and entertaining! The Jamboree teams also ended their seasons! Good job kids!
I’d like to wish everyone to have a healthy winter. Take care of each other!
