Jason J. "Big B" Bednarczyk, 48, of Malta, MT passed away during the early morning hours of November 9th, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 1pm at Wilderness Funeral Home in Malta.
Born on July 4th, 1973 in Malta, MT, Jason was one of two children born to Frank and Rosemary (Van Houdt) Bednarczyk. He lived in Malta his whole life; Jason's friends teased him that he would break out in a sweat when he got more than 60 miles from Malta. Graduating from Malta High School in 1991, Jason went on to attend Battineau College in North Dakota for Wildlife Management, he studied there for 2 years before returning home.
After college, Jason returned to the town he loved, as well as hunting and fishing in the great state of Montana. Jason went to work at Malta Ready Mix and stayed there for 23 years before moving on to Century for a couple years. Over the last 2 years, Jason worked as a Ditch Rider for Malta Irrigation District, where his work ethic and good attitude will be missed by many. He was known for being kindhearted, caring and most of all a gentle giant with a shit eating grin. Though he had much pride in his work, Jason's greatest accomplishment in life was his son Kamoh Francis Bednarczyk.
Jason was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents John and Bernadina Van Houdt and his paternal grandparents John and Lorraine Bednarczyk.
He is survived by his beloved son Kamoh Francis Bednarczyk; parents Frank and Rosie Bednarczyk and sister Jody "Toad" (Nate) Bednarczyk.
