One Nation, Under God
The 2021 school year started with a bang, as students studied the Roaring 20s and read The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. After completing the novel, the students each selected an icon from the 20s, researched that person, and then put together a presentation where they portrayed that character. The final component of the project involved presenting (as their characters) to grades 4-8 and staff in a birthday celebration for Fitzgerald, who turned 125 on September 24th. For the grand finale, students danced the Charleston to "Charleston" by Louis Prima.
