Election Results Across Phillips County

Three Phillips County municipalities held elections on Tuesday, November 2.

The town of Dodson had the busiest ballot in the county, with the mayor’s spot to be filled and two council member spots open.

A total of 67 ballots were issued to active registered voters with 41, or 61.1% of those ballots returned.

At the end of May this year, then-mayor, Terri Cole resigned. A nomination was made, seconded, then passed by a 3-1 vote to make Angel Arocha the Mayor of Dodson for the remainder of the term.
