One Nation, Under God
Today I finished my 10-day quarantine! I was pretty excited because I knew I was going to be ok and I’d go to church and do all sorts of things around the house and yard! Just a minute there, I’m still easily fatigued. I made it to church, but I was very low on energy!
I have been nowhere and I’m so thankful for thoughtful neighbors to bring me supplies from Malta. They left it on the deck so we didn’t get too close.
Yesterday was Observe the Moon Night. It was so clear that it was perfect to look at. It was just past quarter and the area where the dark starts is more interesting because the deep valleys and crevasses show up easier using binoculars.
Our community extends sympathy to the family of Debbie Dyrdahl, a long-time resident in this area. She had an unforgettable raspy laugh. Debbie’s funeral will be in Loring on Friday at 11. Sympathy also to the family of Cliff Rustad, a beloved auctioneer for many 4-H livestock sales and farm sales! His voice will be hard to replace!
Good luck to the Simonson cowgirls as they run the barrels at the INFR in Vegas. Go for the top, Kiana Davis and Keira Simonson!
Until next week, be safe and kind!
