Surrounded by her children, Alice Faye Anderson, age 78, passed away peacefully in Billings on October 9, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer.
Alice was born to Earl and Pauline Crowder on November 17, 1942 in Sun Prairie, MT. She was raised with ten brothers and two sisters on the homestead south of Malta. She graduated from Malta High School in 1960. Alice met her husband, Ronnie Anderson, while attending a dance at Sun Prairie and they were married on February 4, 1961. They moved around Montana during the early years of their marriage, then made Malta their permanent residence in 1971 where they raised seven children.
Alice worked as a mom, waitress, bartender, business owner, and most recently at Malta Opportunities (MOI). She had a passion for people, was known for her friendly disposition, and had a heart of gold. She had a competitive spirit and it was often displayed while playing cribbage, cards, and in her younger years running the pool table. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years (Ronnie), parents (Earl and Pauline), siblings, (Allan, Ben, Bob, Frank, Peggy, and Rose), son-in-law (Alan Haines), and a grandson (Spencer Barnes).
She is survived by daughters, Rhonda (Kevin) Seitz of Culbertson, Laurie (Dan) Enebo of Glasgow, Brenda Haines of Maple Valley, WA, Tina (Will) Biggs of Billings, Jamie Anderson of Helena, two sons, Ron Anderson of Lake Stevens, WA, and Dan (Charisma) Anderson of Malta, 20 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her fur baby, Izzy.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10am at Wilderness Funeral Home in Malta.
