Dodson youth found deceased in auto accident

On the morning of Sunday, October 3, Landen Fox, a 15-year-old, and resident of Dodson was found deceased in a one vehicle accident on US Highway 2.

The name of the youth was released to the PCN after the family was notified.

The following is the narrative according to Montana Highway Patrol:

Between 0000 hours and 0300 hours, vehicle 1 was eastbound on US Highway 2. The vehicle drifted off the right side of the road and the driver over corrected.

The vehicle re-entered the roadway and went into the drivers-side skid. The vehicle then entered the eastbound ditch, tripped in the soft dirt and rolled multiple times before coming to a rest in an irrigation ditch.

The driver was ejected and pronounced deceased on scene. The crash was not discovered and reported to MHP until after 1100 hours on 10/3/2021. Seatbelt was not used.
