One Nation, Under God
Congratulations to Sheila (my granddaughter) on the birth of her baby boy, also congratulations to me as I am a great-grandmother!
The baby’s name is Miles, and he was born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Wonderful News!
Also, congratulations to Whitney Blunt on the birth of a new baby girl. The Blunts have 3 other children.
Whitewater School had a Health Screening on Monday. The group had dinner at the North 40 Café. This included the Rocky Mountain Bio-medics. The group consisted of Melanie Green, Ty Hinderagen, James Roberts (an EMT), and Kath and RN. All were very interesting people, doing an important job for health care.
Congratulations to all who are celebrating birthdays and anniversaries this month. A very Happy Birthday to my special friend Irene Wendalyn from Chinook.
In the Whitewater area, many farmers/ranchers are buying hay (or trying to). There is a real shortage due to the drought. Some ranchers are even selling off the cattle since they don’t have the hay to feed them. It is sad.
Today the wind is blowing (I don’t like the wind). The birds in our trees are flocking together. I hope this doesn’t mean an early winter.
If you have any news, please call me.
Bye
Helen A.
