Notice of Close of Regular Registration for the

City of Malta, Town of Dodson and Town of Saco

Notice is hereby given that regular* registration for the City of Malta, Town of Dodson, and Town of Saco Municipal General Elections to be held on November 2, 2021, will close at

5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021.

If you miss this regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election in person at the Phillips County Election Office before 12:00 p.m. (noon) the day before Election Day.

All active and inactive* electors of the City of Malta, Town of Saco and Town of Dodson are entitled to vote at said election.

**Ballots will be automatically mailed to Active Electors only in the City of Malta, Town of Saco and Town of Dodson on October 15, 2021. If you are a registered voter and do not receive a ballot, you may be inactive, please contact the Phillips County Election Office to update your information as necessary and receive a ballot.

Persons who wish to register and who are not presently registered may do so by requesting a Registration Form by mail before the close of regular voter registration or by appearing at the Phillips County Election Office located in the Courthouse, 314 S 2nd Avenue West in Malta. If you have moved, please update your registration information by filling out a new voter registration card and submitting it to the Phillips County Election Office.

APPLICATION has been made by Paula & Darryl Mummey for a FLOODPLAIN PERMIT from the City of Malta to build a Quonset to store equipment in and an office at 315 North 1st Street East specifications for this project can be viewed at Malta City Hall at 39 South 2nd Street East, Malta Montana.

Public comment will be taken in support of and in opposition to this request for 15 calendar days from the date of this posting (September 22). Written testimony is preferred. If there are any questions concerning this request, please contact Lorie Bond, City Floodplain Manager at Malta City Hall or by phone at 406-654-1251.
