We had a nice rain Saturday night; All moisture was appreciated. Still, ten days till the first day of Autumn but the days are sure getting shorter, darker longer in the morning, and much earlier at night. Temperatures are getting cooler at night also and are slowly warming up in the morning.

Polly and Virginia Solberg went to Billings for the weekend to help celebrate some anniversaries in the Solberg family, Polly was in Chinook early, in the morning to have some dental work done before she went.

Dora Henry attended a Council on Aging meeting in Malta on Wednesday.

Greetings and congratulations are sent to all celebrating a birthday or anniversary this week.

The longest wait in the world is when the nurse tells you to take off your clothes because the doctor will be with you in a minute.

Have a good week and enjoy the sunshine----I still have a couple of extra zucchinis if someone would like some--I always try to pick them when they are still quite small, taste much better.
