Simonson promoted at Independence Bank

Independence Bank is pleased to announce that Kourtney Simonson has been promoted to the position of Loan Officer. Simonson joined the Independence Bank team as a Lender in July of 2019.

In her new position, Simonson will continue serving consumer, agriculture, and commercial customers. In addition, Kourtney is actively training to serve home loan customers.

"We are pleased to announce Kourtney's position as Loan Officer said Casey Cote, Branch President. Kourtney continues to grow in her lending role with Independence Bank and will continue to provide valuable services to our customers while promoting the Bank's products."

Kourtney grew up north of Loring, MT on the family farm & ranch. After graduating from Whitewater High School, she attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a minor in Organizational Leadership in 2019.

Simonson has been actively involved in the community since being back, serving as the President of Phillco Economic Growth Council, as well as officiating volleyball and coaching track and field. In her free time, she enjoys quality time with family and friends, flying, and helping on the family ranch. Kourtney is the daughter of Matt and Heather Simonson and is thankful to call the Hi-Line home.
