One Nation, Under God

Whitewater News & Opinion for Wednesday, September 8, 2021

Sympathy to families of Everett Marks of Saco. “Get well wishes” to Pat Murdock and Kimberly Hellie who are sick.

It is September! It’s hard to believe summer is almost over. “Happy Birthday

and “Anniversary” to all who are celebrating their days.

If you would like a “greeting”, sent to someone, let me know, and I will put in our WW News.

Hope you had a nice Labor Day. Some from the area went to “Saco Fun Days.” I have gone before, and it is “FUN”.

However, we still need to beware of the enemy, C-19 virus.

Schools including our schools are in full swing. “Welcome to new teacher Miss Liddle. Anita Wisher is a teacher’s aide/tutor.

Good luck to students and teachers this 2021-2022 school year.

“Welcome to Whitewater” to Pat and Barb Dunbar’s daughter and 3 grandchildren. They will attend Whitewater School this year. Again, welcome to Miss Liddle and all newcomers.

“Hello” to Pearl Peacher (my friend) who has worked in local motels/hotels as a “maid” for over 50 years. She is now 89 years and continues to work.

“Welcome to Whitewater” to French Exchange student who is living with the Stenvicks. I’ll find our more.

Whitewater recently had 2 inches of rain. It really made the grass green. Maybe it is too late for some crops, but it will make hay for cattle to eat this winter.

One rancher said his oat crop looks good.

Good luck to all farmers and ranchers!

Take Care,

Helen A.
